When a wild animal allows us to briefly share his world, to spend time
in his company, it's a rewarding and privileged experience. The
preservation of habitat, of wildlife, of wildness, is imperative
to our existence. To lose that which is wild is to lose too much,
to give up an integral part of our soul.
"If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness
of the spirit." -- Chief Seattle.
